Peregrine falcons, rulers of the sky, the fastest animal on the planet with stooping speed up to 240mph. This nest is located on the Southern California coastline. Parents of the 3 fledglings tirelessly provided these new borns with food, shelter and training. I started documenting them from they were 5 weeks old on June 3 2022. During the course of 2 weeks, the baby falcons went from barely wobbling out of their nest after fledging to showing superior aerial maneuvers in the sky, successfully completing food transfer training sessions with parents. Within the next couple of months, they will be able to fend for themselves in the wilderness on their own.
